The Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council is comprised of many police officers from different departments throughout Middlesex and Essex County providing it's services to 1.7 Million people in 925 square miles. NEMLEC has six operational units of which being:

• Motorcycle Unit

• Regional Communications

• Regional Response Team (RRT)

• School Threat Assessment and Response System (STARS)

• Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT)

• Incident Management Team (IMT)

NEMLEC's fleet most notably consists of its Bearcats along with several other vehicles.
